Board of Directors
Dr. Sharon Buck
Dr. Sharon Buck is currently the Vice President of Instruction at Peninsula College in Port Angeles, WA. Dr. Buck received her doctorate degree in Community College Leadership from Oregon State University in 2004, a Master of Science degree in Forest Resources Management from the University of Washington, and a Bachelor of Science degree in Agriculture form California State Polytechnic University. She also designed courses for the Tulalip Tribes, worked as part of collaborative learning teams and was named “Workforce Dean of the Year” by the Washington State Centers of Excellence.
Jeff Bele – 2018 Board President
Jeff is a retired veteran and currently the Commander of Disabled American Veterans for the state of Washington. In addition to proudly serving his country, Jeff has long held a passion for the entertainment industry and teaches classes on camera work, commercial television production and various other elements of media. He also owns a talent management agency to help people across the Olympic Peninsula realize their full potential and achieve their dreams.
Dale Wilson – 2018 Member at Large
Dale Wilson earned a Bachelors in Journalism and a Master’s in Communication. Starting as news director for the college radio station and weekend DJ then migrating over to become floor-director for the local PBS Television station. He has been a consultant in the industry with a specialty in team-building and taught communications courses at the college level. Wilson also worked as a fundraiser for Youth Town of Tennessee, the children’s home where he grew up.
Tyler Alghren – 2018 Board Vice-President
Having traveled to and lived in 26 countries, Tyler relies on his first hand experiences of different cultures, different people and the different ways people have found to address issues. Always curious, he has been involved in community efforts throughout his adult life. An award winning photographer, Tyler has a great interest in the visual arts.
Elisabeth Hegyi – 2018 Board Treasurer
Originally from Switzerland, Elisabeth moved to the USA in 1981 and retired as Mechanical Designer in 2002. In 2005 she moved from Southern California to Port Angeles. Elisabeth has been instrumental in handling many of the day-to-day operations at PAPA Studios since the launch of the station. She enjoys working the
land and giving help wherever help is needed.
Artur K. Wojnowski – 2018 Board Secretary
A Port Angeles Home Owner Association Maintenance Manager and General Contractor, Artur has been a part of Peninsula Area Public Access a while as a volunteer videographer of local community and government meetings before joining the board. He is currently the producer of “Port Angeles News” – a weekly news roundup covering Clallam County. A pioneer behind several PAPA initiatives including the “Movies in the Park” summer screenings, Artur is an avid TV/Film enthusiast and supporter of local art and entertainment.
Christopher Enges – 2018 Member at Large
Christopher retired from Clallam County road department in 2012 after 20 years of service and enrolled in Peninsula College’s multimedia program in pursuit of a multimedia communications degree with assistance from the Veteran’s Administration.
After college in 2014, he enrolled in the VA business Accelerator program and created a business plan to start a videography business. The VA approved the plan and his company Spirit Vision Films LLC was born.
Christopher also acquired a FAA Section 333 exemption to commercially fly UAVs or drones in 2015. In August of 2016, he became one of the first UAV pilots to acquire the new CRF 14, Part 107 FAA sUAV (small unmanned aerial vehicle or drone) commercial pilot’s certificate in the state of Washington.
Christopher works with the production team at PAPA TV to create new content for the station, as well as films within the North Olympic Peninsula community.
The Board of Directors meets at 6:00PM every 2nd Tuesday
of each month.
Meetings are held at PAPA Studios (215 S. Lincoln St., Port Angeles, WA).
The meetings are open to all members and the general public.
